A warm Lancashire welcome awaits - Contact information and factory tour informaton

Dewlay was founded in 1957 by George Kenyon a Lancastrian dairyman. Some fifty years on, the dairy is still family owned and run and has stayed true to its roots. Located just outside the market town of Garstang, in rural Lancashire we are surrounded by the rich pastures on which the dairy herds that supply our finest quality milk graze.

The Dewlay 18 acre green field site rests within a picturesque country setting and is approached through a double drive bisected by trees.

Visiting groups of 15 and over are welcome to come and see the dairy in action from a first floor viewing gallery to observe the production process and also view the wall paintings explaining the cheese-making process.

The visitor's entrance hall is home to vintage dairy artefacts such as antique butter churns and cheese presses and has some fascinating cheese making facts to discover. If you would like to arrange a tour please contact us.

We are also proud to hold the much sought-after BRC higher level status. Widely respected as an independent food audit by all the major food markets, it has been awarded in recognition of our high hygiene standards, inspection procedure and staff training.
