Nw fine food award 'Best Creamy Lancashire Award'

NW Fine Food Awards has been run in the North West by NW Fine Foods for the last five years. The hotly contested event, attracts hundreds of entries each year and is judged by an expert panel of 24 judges including leading North West chefs, national food writers and guest judges. The category winners form a fantastic taste guide to the best cheese, bacon, ice cream, chocolate, sausages, desserts, drinks available in the North West.

Over 130 experts from around the world will taste and evaluate the chesses before awarding Gold, Silver and Bronze.  Each Gold winning cheese is judged a second and third time before the winners of the 18 major sponsored trophies, including the world champion 2007 is decided.

Following the judging the World Cheese Awards will showcase the winning cheeses at the International Food Exhibition at ExCel, an exhibition which attracts over 25,000 trade buyers, retailers and restaurateurs.
